Содержание

Пэт Фелпс, в прошлом известная писательница, так и не может написать свой второй роман. В семье дела тоже неладно — отношения с мужем давно потеряли былой лоск, а дети как раз переживают подростковый бунт. Переспав с сантехником, женщина в отчаянии решает переехать с семьёй в пригород, подальше от шума мегаполиса. Заселившись в новый дом с пугающим прошлым, проблем у Пэт становится лишь больше — жилище странно влияет на неё, и женщина пытается понять, это депрессия или же происки местных духов.
