Содержание

Сериал «Любовницы», заказанный телеканалом АВС, стал ремейком одноименного британского телесериала и представляет собой провокационную драму о скандальных похождениях четырех подруг, слывущих благополучными американками.

Давние знакомые - Саванна, ее младшая сестрица Джоселин, Эйприл и Карен – закадычные подружки с университетских лет. Сэви, успешная юристка в солидной фирме, мечтающая о ребенке, узнает, что муж ее, к несчастью, отцом никогда не станет. Весьма неожиданно для себя Саванна начинает флиртовать с Домиником, своим обаятельным коллегой. Для Джоселин, напротив, флирт – обычное дело. Энергичная дамочка, занимающаяся недвижимостью, избегает длительных отношений, часто меняя партнеров. Третья героиня, психиатр Карен, любовница смертельно больного пациента, старается облегчить страдания любимого, а Эйприл, четвертая из подруг, недавно утратила супруга.

Необыкновенные события вдруг изменяют жизнь героинь. Сэви собирается рассказать о Доминике мужу, Джоселин находит свою любовь, Карен на похоронах любовника знакомится с Сэмом, его сыном, а Эйприл вдруг кажется, будто ее усопший муж жив.
